Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all! We have had the most wonderful holiday filled with family and even a new Clapper who joined the world yesterday, Brianna Marie Clapper, Congrats to my cousin Jason and his wife Steph! We have been blessed to have Great-Grandma Levonne with us for the holidays. It has been a tough year for us in losing my aunt Sandi and my grandpa Bob. The holidays are always hard with loved ones missing, but we certainly made the most of them and enjoyed the family we have! God is great and we are so blessed.

We have eaten tons of food the past few days and I think we have actually opened some presents every day for the past four believe it or not! Hannah was spoiled with a new slide from mom and dad, a new kitchen stove from Grandma and Grandpa Zabell, a new tricycle from Grandma and Grandpa Clapper, as well as a dolly (named Abby) with her high chair and crib from both sets of grandparents, along with many more clothes, toys and books galore. Thank you to all, she absolutely loves them and I had to clear out much of her playroom to accomodate all these fun things!

She loved dancing to the song the ornament played.

Pics from the Children's Museum

Joe and I took Hannah to the Minnesota Children's Museum back before Thanksgiving and I am a bad blogger so am just now realizing that I took pictures of it and should probably post them...

Adventures of seeing Santa

Joe and I brought Hannah to see Santa yesterday at the Rosedale mall. We waited in line for over an hour. When we were just about to see him Hannah decided it would be fun to spin in circles, which she does frequently. This time however, she must have overdone it a little because she stopped and threw up a little bit on her dress. Nothing too big, just enough to make her breath smell awful and make a dribble on her dress...quick blanket and apple juice to the rescue! Joe quickly used the blanket in the bag (first thing I could find) and I quickly opened the apple juice to make her breath smell better. Whew. We couldn't really get her to smile, but it was cute anyways. She even tried her candy cane afterward and did great (besides being super sticky!)!

Cookie making with Grandma

My mom does daycare for us 2 days a week and it just so happens that she needed to make cookies yesterday and so Hannah got to "help." Looks like they had a blast!

Happy Halloween!

This year we had to go trick or treating without daddy again. I guess we have to just get used to the fact that holidays may be without daddy for the next 5 years during his residency. We enjoyed ourselves and did have some time with daddy before he had to work at 3 which was great. Hannah was a monkey (well really she is a monkey with the way she climbs and eats bananas, which is how I decided what she should dress up as). We carved a pumpkin, ate jack-o-lantern pizza and went to half a dozen houses for trick or treating. It was lots of fun and here are a few pics from our day!

oosh

So Hannah is a little into Shoes, or 'Oosh'as she calls them lately. It is pretty cute and she has a pair of pink crocs that she has bathed with and slept with them on. It is pretty cute and she always puts them on the wrong feet, so adorable and predictable.

I know I have been really bad at updating this, but here are some pics from the last month or so.

The Minnesota Zoo

Well we have been pretty busy lately with Joe's first rotation of residency being on Trauma at Regions Hospital, but he is now on Interventional Radiology which so far is a piece of cake. Since we haven't seen daddy much in the past 5 weeks, we decided to do something fun and go to the zoo today. We had a blast and it was fun to watch Hannah with the animals. She met her dog-cousin, Brew, over fourth of July weekend and since then has called all dogs, "Brew." Well we found out today that it pertains to all furry animals as well. We would say, "Moose," she would say, "Brew." It worked for cow, monkey, leopard, pretty much everything. So cute!

Here are some pictures from our adventures:
