Last few days of work

As my last few days of work are coming to an end as my due date approaches, I thought I would post a few pics of my work uniform that unbelievably I have been able to make work all the way through the pregnancy (although the buttons barely close...). I have been working half days the past week and I am really liking it. I come home and take a nap, clean, and cook dinner which makes my life a lot easier. Well we are ready any day for this little girl to finally come out. Hopefully it will be soon!

Nursery is complete...minus one small baby

We got a gorgeous dresser/changing table delivered from Michigan today. It made it here with all 4 legs and looks great. We are so grateful to have such unique pieces of furniture handmade by my dad and brother for our baby girl. We have the nursery all setup and we even washed a bunch of clothes for when we bring her home. Each day we get more and more excited and can't wait for her to make her way out. We have a bag packed, car seat all set, and the car seat base is already in daddy's car! Here are a few pictures of the nursery all ready, just waiting for her!

18 days to go (or less hopefully...)

Here are a couple belly shots as we are nearing our little girl's arrival. I am starting to feel pretty uncomfortable, but know I am going to miss having her right inside me kicking away.

Surprise Baby Shower!

Yesterday the women at work threw a surprise baby shower for me over lunch. It was such a surprise to me and I am extremely grateful for their kindness. We had a fun lunch out and enjoyed some wonderful cake thanks to Jobiena! I don't have the pictures yet, but it was so much fun and I am incredible thankful for such great co-workers and thought I should share! We got some adorable outfits, practical bath time goodies, a carbon monoxide detector, and a nice bottle warmer. Joe has been wanting something purple and ohe finally got the perfect outfit that's purple and even has 'I love my daddy' on it (picture below). Once I get the pics I will share.


Joe and I are getting so excited as we count down the days (only 20 left hopefully...) to our little girl's arrival! It warms my heart every time Joe talks to his little girl inside me and gives her kisses. He is on newborn nursery this week and got to hold a little one day old and he came home more excited than ever to meet his little girl. I still don't have my bag packed yet so she can't come yet. I went to the doctor yesterday and I am not dilating or effacing yet, so I think we still have some time before she comes. Our little one is head down and everything looked good from the outside. Joe is on call late tonight, but we will take a picture tonight for those of you that are curious about my belly size.
